About Daniel

Daniel is a former secondary school teacher of mathematics of 2 years and has also worked as a private tutor for other sites before settling with Latimer Tuition, where he has become a full time private tutor for the past 4 years now. With a diligent, organised and well practiced tutor, you can be sure your student is in the right hands with Daniel. He believes every student can achieve their goals and will tailor his teaching to that student's preferred way of learning to ensure the most efficient path forward for them. He teaches mathematics only and accepts a wide range of students, from KS3 to A-level.

Daniel also likes strategy games, like chess and other video games, and music.

Daniel Denton is a qualified UK state secondary school Mathematics teacher and an experienced private tutor with Latimer Tuition. He holds a PGCE for his Bachelor of Education in Mathematics, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, from the University of York, and brings a structured, well-practised approach to every session.

As a specialist mathematics tutor, Daniel teaches Mathematics, Pure Maths and Further Maths, supporting a wide range of learners from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level. He also works with students preparing for 11+, 13+, GCSE, iGCSE, AS Level, International Baccalaureate and adult Maths study, tailoring tuition to the student’s preferred way of learning and focusing on the most efficient path toward their goals.

Daniel previously taught mathematics in UK secondary schools for 2 years, then transitioned into full-time private tutoring. Since moving into a work-from-home role in 2022, he has continued to tutor full time, with 4 years’ experience at Latimer Tuition as well as tutoring on other platforms before that. Students and parents can also expect clear lesson reports after each session, and homework can be arranged free of charge.
