Sara Dellapiana

Sara is a native Italian speaker with a passion for languages.

She graduated in English and Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Bergamo, having also spent two years studying at the University of Manchester.

After relocating to the UK, she obtained a PGCE with distinction in Secondary MFL from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2008.

Sara has taught French and Spanish from primary to GCSE level since 2008 both in UK schools and as a 1:1 tutor and given Italian lessons to all levels and age groups, from toddler to adult evening classes, for over 20 years.

Her in depth knowledge of the MFL GCSE curriculum and her experience working across all key stages, puts her in an ideal position to help students to overcome obstacles and address common misconceptions in their language learning journey increasing their confidence and fluency.

Sara delivers engaging lessons tailored to each student's needs and abilities.

Sara Dellapiana is a qualified Modern Foreign Languages teacher and native Italian speaker who offers supportive, tailored tuition in French, Italian and Spanish. She holds a PGCE with distinction and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Modern Foreign Languages from Manchester Metropolitan University (2008), and a first-class BA in Modern Foreign Languages in Spanish and English Languages and Literature from the University of Bergamo (110/110 with distinction). She also spent two years studying at the University of Manchester.

Since 2008, Sara has taught French and Spanish in UK schools from primary through to GCSE, alongside 1:1 tutoring. She brings in-depth knowledge of the MFL GCSE curriculum and experience across all key stages, helping students work through common misconceptions, overcome obstacles, and build confidence and fluency. As an Italian tutor, she has also taught for over 20 years, including adult evening classes and one-to-one lessons, working with learners of all ages and levels, from toddlers to adults.
