About Lucia

Lucia is a qualified MFL teacher with 3 years of teaching experience in London and is currently taking a break from teaching in schools. During her time teaching, Lucia also completed a maternity cover as Head of Spanish.

She obtained her BA in Modern Languages and Translation at the University of Leicester achieving a 2:1 and obtained her PGCE in Modern Languages with QTS from Sheffield Hallam University. She was also recently approved by Edexcel to be a Spanish GCSE examiner.

Lucia is a native Spanish speaker and teaches from KS2-KS5. She can teach French at KS2 and KS3. She specialises in Spanish GCSE and has 1 year of tutoring experience. During her Year Abroad at University, she volunteered for 6 months at a British-Peruvian School in Lima, where she delivered one-to-one French lessons up to KS3.
